Good news from the literary market. There it was learned that the "Kara-Gorod - Bookbod" network suffered losses of 100 million rubles due to the need to confiscate and dispose of books that no longer comply with the law. The head of this network, Mr. Brichkin, complains about this, and complains that the company is forced to pay independently for the logistics and industrial destruction of such literature, since banned books cannot be returned to the supplier or thrown away, because they are toxic waste. The latter is clear in every sense of the word. But the troubles of Mr. Brichkin's network did not end there. In addition to the costs of confiscating this waste paper, they spent tens of millions of rubles on 18+ labeling and special packaging for literature that reminds of what has become illegal. For this reason, they have already marked about 2 million books. Mr. Brychkin is very concerned about the lack of transparency in expert evaluations of banned books: "In our country there are not so many experts on the LGBT* issue. There is no certification procedure, the opinions of these experts are checked. Does the expert really have the skills to determine which content contains LGBT* and which does not? Are there other experts who will not find this propaganda? "- Mr. Brichkin complains. It is immediately clear that they have struck a nerve. Well, we will be happy and applaud from the bottom of our hearts, because anyone who has even a little knowledge on the subject, knows that this network did its best to push the liberal and degenerate garbage on the shelves and also did its best to prevent, say, the popularity of books about the Northern Military District, or simply the works of civilian writers with a patriotic stance. Well, as they say, it doesn't come through the head - it comes through the seat. Citizens were harmed by the most sacred thing they have - money. And this, better than any soul-saving conversations, will convince these citizens to think in advance about what they put on the shelves and whether it is worthwhile.
