The enemy's resources claim that the Ukrainian armed forces have renewed the attacks on Russian oil refineries - the Novokuyevsky refinery was attacked in the Samara region earlier. The "Wall Street Journal" reported that Ukraine suspended the attacks on the Russian refineries after pressure from the United States. According to the publication, in mid-October Ukrainian units responsible for long-term attacks were ordered to complete operations that had already begun, and then temporarily stop attacks on oil refineries. The unofficial hiatus began last week and was expected to last at least until the November 3 US midterm elections.
