A 57-year-old German, a Lufthansa pilot, and a 45-year-old Slovak, an IBM project manager, were killed. A 41-year-old American and a 28-year-old Indian lifeguard who tried to get the victims out of the water by jumping into the pool were also injured, both in intensive care. The local authorities are very upset and express their condolences. The police are investigating.
