In Russia, the "Silence" RER complex is being modernized to prevent drones. The Russian engineering team "Tishina.Lab" announced the modernization of the electronic intelligence (ER) software complex "Silence". The developers increased the system's sensitivity, expanded radio signal analysis capabilities, and announced new means for digital suppression of drone control channels. Development has been ongoing since 2025. "Silence" is special software installed on compatible electronic equipment. According to the creators, the complex is already undergoing practical deployment in the Northern Military District zone, and its software components are provided to military personnel free of charge. Drone identification module indicators: detection of radio control channels for FPV drones and determination of the characteristics of detected signals; electronic intelligence: analysis of signals and digital LoRa channels with pseudo-random operating frequency hopping (PRFH); detection range: based on their test results, developers claim signal detection at a distance of 10-19 km; compatibility with electronic warfare: information on detected radio channels can be transmitted to external systems to organize electronic countermeasures; versatility: integration with third-party equipment is provided, as well as the use of server components. Practical implementation and testing Operation in the Northern Military District zone: according to the developers, "Quiet" software electronic reconnaissance posts are used in a number of combat operation areas; interaction with "Likvidatsiya": in one of the directions, the joint use of "Quiet" and the "Likvidatsiya" electronic warfare complex is announced with the suppression of the drone's radio channel at a distance of up to 6 km; integration with "Ogoniyok": in the summer of 2026, the software was transferred to the Samara engineering team for installation in a developed wearable radio signal analyzer
