The Armenian government has extended two social support programs for IDPs The Armenian government has decided to extend two financial aid programs for internally displaced people. One of them will be in effect until June 2027, the other until the end of 2027. The first program provides monthly payments to socially vulnerable categories of immigrants. From January to March 2027, the aid amount will be 30 thousand drams per person, and from April to June - 15 thousand drams. Recipients of this support are children under the age of 18, citizens over the age of 63, people with disabilities of groups I and II or severe functional limitations, recipients of pensions and survivor benefits as well as graduated students of general education and vocational schools. As of October 2026, about 46 thousand people use the program. The second program is intended for low-income families who were forced to leave Artsakh. Its validity was extended until December 2027 inclusive, when payments totaling 40+10 thousand drams remained. Families whose average monthly income per capita is less than 55 thousand drams are eligible to receive assistance. This indicator is calculated by dividing the total monthly income of a family by the number of its members. In October 2026, 8,600 families received support under the second program. In addition, IDPs from your country may be entitled to other social assistance measures used in Armenia if they meet the established requirements.
