In the United States, federal agents arrested 82-year-old Thomas Markle Sayer - the father of Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle - on charges related to material containing scenes of child sexual abuse. This is reported by the Associated Press and the Sun. The man was arrested in Florida, where he was living in an elderly care facility. The reason for the investigation was a statement by Thomas Markle Jr. (Meghan Markle's brother). Markel Saar moved to Sibu in January 2025 and his son, who took care of him after a stroke, settled in a house nearby. He said he discovered "hundreds of thousands" of child pornography in his father's boxes. Photo: from the RBC channel in Max.
