The Ministry of Construction proposes to introduce a levy on housing and community services rates to finance the repair of old pipes and boiler houses. The document will be submitted to the government by the end of the year. We are talking about tariffs for heat, water supply and sanitation, reports Parlamentskaya Gazeta with reference to the deputy director of the department, Fyodor Kozlov.
"Basically, this is a small targeted increase in the service rate, which is not intended for current expenses, but only for a major repair and renewal of worn out networks."
