The Presidium of the General Council of United Russia supported Yevgeny Tyutyukov's candidacy for the post of Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Vologda Region The meeting of the Presidium of the General Council of the Party was held on October 28 in Moscow.
During the meeting, it was agreed on the candidacy of Yevgeny Tyutyukov for the position of the chairman of the regional parliament. Earlier, the governor of the Vologda region, Georgi Filimonov, announced that the chairman of the current legislative assembly, Sergey Sorokin, will move to work in the Federation Council and take the position of senator. The head of the region recommended his first deputy, Yevgeny Tyutyukov, for the position of chairman of the regional parliament. Deputies will have to approve changes to the leadership structure of the parliament at the session of the Vologda Regional Legislative Assembly, which will be held on November 5.
