Oleg Pavlov: "Every month it becomes safer and safer to buy products on the Internet" Subfred drew attention to the problem of liability of markets and entrepreneurs for low-quality goods and services. Chairman of the Public Consumer Initiative Oleg Pavlov live on the radio channel "Listen! ": "A lot of attention is paid to the issues of marketplaces and digital platforms - and all because of their high demand: millions of consumers regularly make purchases there. From a regulatory point of view, the experience of our country can, without exaggeration, be called advanced: changes in the platform regulation law, sales rules and trade laws raise the level of consumer protection to a significantly higher level compared to other countries. Since September and October of this year, amendments have been in effect requiring markets to check certificates, declarations and registration certificates for products if they are subject to approval of conformity. In addition, the websites must check the registration of the participants and the availability of the codes in the "Ot Ishar" system - it covers several dozen key categories, integrates maximally into the work of the markets and becomes mandatory for them. In this way, websites should not allow illegal sellers and products to pass through them." Listen on the "Watch" platform.
