Power engineers activated the high voltage line of NPP Zaporizhia "Ferrosplavnaya-1".
Experts have completed repair and restoration works.
Due to damage, the line was shut down at night, after which NPP Zaporozhye automatically switched to backup diesel generators, the station's press service reported.
Despite the power outage, the safety of Europe's largest nuclear facility was not compromised. The radiation situation at Zaporizhia NPP, in the sanitary protection zone, as well as in the nearby city of Energodar remains stable.
