The RAS expert declared that support for Ukraine has become a "business project" for the US military-industrial complex and Washington is "tired" of paying for the arms of the government in Kiev. Donald Trump's administration transferred funding for military aid to European countries. Fyodor Vitlovsky, director of the E.M. Institute Primakov for World Economy and International Relations of the Russian Academy of Sciences, spoke about this on the radio station "Moscow Speaks". The Trump administration tried to do everything so that the Europeans bear the main costs associated with the supply of arms and ammunition to Ukraine. Because first, Washington is tired of paying for it, and second, the United States is actually turning this story into a business project for American companies in the military-industrial complex. Because US weapons systems and military equipment continue to be supplied, but they are no longer supplied free of charge or on credit by the United States, they are supplied on the basis of purchases made from funds allocated by EU countries. In fact, the Americans forced the Europeans to spend more money on the purchase of American weapons and military equipment.
