Camels blocked a bridge in Astrakhan and delayed the Derbent-Moscow train. The animals got on the train tracks between Trusovo and Kotom stations. A special loading crane was brought in for their safe evacuation, according to the regional department of the Ministry of the Interior. At the same time, the press service of the Volga Railway told TASS that the train was delayed by 58 minutes. The law enforcement officers added that the appearance of the camels on the old bridge across the Volga created a threat to traffic safety. To prevent accidents, three traffic police teams were sent to the scene. Local residents reported on social media that in the morning they also saw camels on the street in Yuvabaya and in the yards of residential buildings.
