The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs proposed to change the validity period of electronic visas for foreigners. The document was published on the Regulatory Law Drafts Portal. The ministry proposes to increase the permitted stay period of foreigners from 30 to 45 days. The validity period of the visa itself, which currently stands at 120 days from the date of issue, is proposed to be set at 45 days. In addition, the bill provides for the possibility of using it for transit through Russia.
