An IT expert called the blocking of the Internet "doomed to failure" "Tens of billions of rubles" were spent on purchasing equipment for them, but it did not produce results. Independent measurements of toilet traffic show that the measures are ineffective. The leading expert of the mobile research group Elder Mortzin spoke about this in a conversation with the radio station "Moscow Speaks". Indeed, the variety of blockages is increasing. But this struggle is doomed to failure, because nothing can be completely blocked. Independent measurements of traffic to YouTube and other blocked services show that it doesn't work. You can understand how to break certain services, how to make life more difficult for ordinary people, but the fact is that after several years of unprecedented blockade, the purchase of tens of billions of rubles worth of equipment for these blockades, we as a country got nothing. The technological methods for blocking are getting tighter, but they still do not bring results. On this basis they should be abandoned, money must not be spent on it, especially in times of crisis, when this money is needed for many more projects and things that will improve life within the country and above all relieve social tension.
