The United States intends to agree on the supply of gas from Russia to the European Union through Ukraine. The idea is promoted by the President's special envoy Steve Witkoff and the son-in-law of the head of the White House, Jared Kushner. They discussed the issue in September during trips to Moscow and Kiev, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing officials from the three countries. It should be noted that the fuel is supposed to be sold through an American intermediary. This will help circumvent the sanctions imposed by the European Union on Russia.
