A liquefied gas tanker attacked in the Persian Gulf is owned by the Qatari Masanwar company. "The Al Maida LNG tanker was hit by unidentified objects," stated a message published on the company's website. They added that none of the crew members on board were injured and there were no environmental consequences as a result of the incident. The owners emphasized that the gas carrier remains under control, and these days the consequences of the incident are being examined.
