The head of the French Ministry of Finance pointed to the stagnation of the country's economy in 2026. It is documented against the background of "turmoil within the republic and on the international scene", noted Roland Lesciur. "In the year 2026, the French economy is at a standstill due to an unprecedented situation caused by external and internal shocks," the minister said on the French Information TV channel. Among the factors that influenced the situation, he listed the unusual heat that the country faced in the summer, as well as the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.
