The Kremlin ruled out the participation of the European Union in the negotiations on Ukraine. The meeting in the triangular format of Moscow-Washington-Kiev does not provide for the presence of representatives of the European Union. Presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov stated this to the Vesti information service. This is how the Kremlin representative responded to the information about Brussels' plans to send a delegation to the meeting in Abu Dhabi. According to Peskov, Moscow does not see any peacekeeping position from the EU; On the contrary, the European authorities are demonstrating a provocative approach aimed at escalating the conflict. "We don't need such participants," concluded Paskov. He also expressed doubt that European mediation is necessary for the American side.
