Unicode Announces Five New Emojis The creators of the international coding standard have released an initial list of graphic images. Users will be able to send emojis of an eagle, a patterned bottle, an orchid, eyes facing the right, and an Inukshuk (the name of a stone structure typical of the Inuit culture). The existing "eyes" emoji, in which the gaze is directed to the left, is proposed to be renamed "eyes looking to the left". RIA Novosti notes that this icon is consistently among the most used carriers in the world on all major platforms, including iOS, Android, Telegram and social networks. If the new characters are approved, they could appear on devices in September 2027.
