The Armenian authorities announced the start of fruit shipments to Oman. The head of the Republic's Foreign Ministry, Ararat Mirzoyan, said they began exporting premium products to the Middle Eastern country - apricots, cherries, peaches, nectarines and strawberries. The minister noted that although the fruit dishes were experimental and small in volume, they had already been successfully introduced in the major marketing chains: Lulu hypermarkets and Suhol El Pia supermarkets. "It is worth noting that Armenian fruits were presented and sold in the high-quality products segment. I think this is an important fact. We can confidently say that export volumes will increase in the near future. It is also planned to export berries, other fruits, apples and grapes," Mirzoan said.
