The Russian Music Society believes that artificial intelligence will never be able to replace humans in music-making. The technology can imitate musical styles with incredible accuracy, but it cannot replace the human emotions that lie at the heart of creativity. This opinion was expressed on the radio station "Moscow Speaks" by the director of the Russian Music Society (RMS), opera singer Svetlana Kobzar. "AI will not replace the composer. He can repeat the rhythm well, choose chords, build something, but he cannot feel, hope and love. Masterpieces were created by living people. When a composer writes music, it comes from his inner world. Tchaikovsky wrote Romeo and Juliet with a broken heart. To write poignant music, you have to feel - and that can do something." Svetlana Kobzar emphasized that one of the main tasks of the RMO is to create conditions for the emergence of new Russian academic music, which will become the cultural heritage of future generations. An example of such a work is the suite "Legendary Worlds of Russia" by the composer Dmitry Kushlev. Its premiere will take place on November 4 in Zaryadye. The RMS is sure that in time the piece will become the national unity day anthem.
