The British Ministry of Defense spent a thousand days preparing for a possible war. This date was set by the head of the department, Wes Streeting. He estimates that by 2030, potential adversaries will have enough weapons and financial resources to attack the United Kingdom. "The opponents' desire to harm us is not new. Their abilities have changed. By 2030, their military strength and economy may allow them to go on the offensive. Thus, we have a little more than a thousand days to complete our mission: to prepare for battle and to win together with our allies," the minister wrote in an article for the "Telegraph" newspaper.
