Thomas Markle, the 82-year-old father of Meghan Markle, wife of Britain's Prince Harry, appeared in federal court on Friday, November 6, after being arrested in Florida, accused of possessing child sexual abuse images.
According to the US Department of Justice, FBI agents searched two of Markle's rented warehouses in Los Angeles after receiving reports of suspicious photos and discovered photos including photos attributed to her with naked underage girls.
These warehouses are rented by him since 2008.
The investigation began in October and Markle faces one count of possession of child sexual abuse images. This charge has not yet been proven in court.
Buckingham Palace and spokeswoman Meghan Markle did not respond to media requests for comment.
