America has imposed sanctions on companies and individuals in India and Turkey for aiding Iran.

On Wednesday, November 4, the US Treasury Department imposed new sanctions against companies and individuals based in India and Turkey for their ties to Iran and warned that it would target any person or institution that supports the government of the Islamic Republic.

These sanctions are part of the "economic exclusion" operation of the Donald Trump administration, which aims to prevent the sale of Iranian oil to finance the war with the United States.

Wednesday's sanctions target what the Treasury described as a "vast criminal network" run by Sunil Kumar Sharma, the Indian, and his wife, Jaspreet Preeti, who was killed.

Two other Indian nationals who run two companies owned by the couple, along with nine separate entities linked to Sharma, are also on the sanctions list. The Ministry of Finance announced in statements that this network provided false flags and certificates for the sanctioned ships involved in transporting Iranian oil.

According to this office, a number of these ships were operating on behalf of the military forces of the Republic of Salmi and its proxies.

🔸 America also agreed to Turkey-based "Fugo Grand Services" company for continued support in Iran's aviation sector; A sector that has been heavily sanctioned in the past.

The United States Treasury Department said last week that its actions will greatly weaken Iran's economy, bring the value of the Rial to a new low and increase the local inflation rate to about 90%.
