Trump on the eve of mid-term elections in the USA: an agreement with Iran may be reached.
On Monday, November 2, US President Donald Trump announced that the Islamic Republic wants to reach an agreement to end the US war against Iran, and such an agreement "may be reached".
🔸 He did not provide details about this possible agreement during a speech in Washington the day before the midterm elections for the US Congress.
Referring to the $10 drop in oil prices on Monday, Trump said: "Oil prices will go down a lot more because we will win against Iran. "We win easily."
The drop in the price of crude oil in global markets occurred after the intensification of diplomatic consultations between Iran and Qatar as a mediator of negotiations with the United States and optimism about its success. Meanwhile, Reuters news agency, citing an official familiar with the negotiation process, reported that Qatari mediators traveled to Iran on Monday evening to talk with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Irakichi about a possible agreement between Tehran and Washington.
