The Kaveda Wildlife Sanctuary in an area of approximately 74,000 dunams is one of the important habitats for the wild animals of the city of Pirozco, which has been under protection for nearly half a century and is a habitat for various species of wild animals and game birds.

This area used to be known as a prohibited hunting area and about three years ago it was upgraded to a wildlife sanctuary by preserving the former area.

Kva's location on the border of two different habitats meant that species of animals, birds and plants from both habitats are present in this area.
