The photos released by the Syrian Ministry of Crisis and Natural Disaster Management on Thursday, October 29, show cars driving on the flooded and destroyed road in Deir Ezzor province.

The Syrian authorities announced on Friday that seven people, including five children, died and seven others were injured due to heavy rains and sudden floods in the east of the country.
The flood affected the eastern districts of Raqqa, Deir ez-Zor and Hasaka, as well as parts of Aleppo, causing the destruction of infrastructure, blocking roads and displacing several families.
