At a meeting on the subject of "mandatory hijab", Tehran's general and revolutionary prosecutor demanded the entry of the Revolutionary Guards and intelligence agencies to identify and deal with what he called "organized gangs promoting corruption", and warned the managers of the executive bodies against not implementing the hijab regulations. According to the "Mizen" news agency, Ali Salehi, who is associated with the judicial system, said at the meeting of the working group on the subject of moral purity and hijab and dealing with "social anomalies" that the intelligence agencies and the Revolutionary Guards must work to "identify, destroy and deal decisively" with groups that he says play a role in "promoting and lawlessness". Without providing evidence, he claimed that these groups are organized and supported by the "sworn enemies of Islamic Iran" and aim to destroy the Iranian and Islamic identity. These statements are made after four years have passed since the "Women, Life, Freedom" demonstrations in Iran, women's opposition to the mandatory hijab continues, and the authorities of the Islamic Republic emphasize the implementation of the regulations related to the mandatory offering of women.
