buying and selling babies under the guise of charity; From a deal of 300 million tomans to changing the mother's identity.

"From ultrasound to birth certificate and birth certificate, only 300 million tomans. Payment in cash, after the birth of the baby"; this is in the framework of the proposal of a woman who presents herself as the manager of a charity organization and claims to hand over to applicants for adoption abandoned babies or babies belonging to poor families.

He guarantees that all the steps, from the delivery of the baby to the issuing of identity cards, will be done without any problems and the details of the transaction will remain confidential.

Despite the legal ban on buying and selling children in Iran, ads about giving up babies for money are still posted on social media.

Investigations by Radio Farda and Seidogo with a number of people active in this field indicate that some intermediaries, using the title of charity and adoption, demand sums of up to hundreds of millions of Tomans for relinquishing babies. A nurse familiar with these transactions tells Radio Farda: "300 million tomans is a reasonable figure for a baby."

The ad begins with a description of this woman's plight and a request for help, but then comes to an offer to hand over the baby in exchange for money: 150 million tomans, plus hospital expenses.
