Iran's ambassador in Islamabad: The border is open, but cargo cannot be sent to Pakistan.

Iran's ambassador to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Magadam, says the border between the two countries is open and Tehran has not established a border to export liquefied natural gas to Pakistan, but hundreds of Iranian trucks have been stopped on the Pakistani side of the Rimdan-Goved border for weeks.

This comment was made following the publication of reports about the closure of this border crossing and the suspension of trade between Iran and Pakistan.

On Sunday, November 3, Amir Hadam wrote on Channel X: "The changes made in the way of implementing Pakistan's "electronic form" procedure for importing from Iran created conditions that caused businessmen to practically and literally not send shipments from Iran to Pakistan."

He announced consultations with the Islamabad authorities to resolve this issue.

Iran's ambassador to Pakistan added: "Several hundred trucks carrying liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) crossed the Rimdan border and entered the Gebad area on the Pakistani side. However, even though these trucks have been parked there for several weeks, they have not yet been unloaded or evacuated."

The news about the blocking of the border crossings between Iran and Pakistan was first published on October 17 and the reason was announced as "banking problems" caused by the American sanctions against Iran.

Some time ago, the US Department of the Treasury issued a new warning regarding the continued cooperation of foreign financial institutions with the banks and financial institutions imposed on Iran.

Simultaneously with the reference of the Iranian ambassador in Pakistan, the head of the transportation committee of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce announced the reopening of the Ramadan trade border between Iran and Pakistan in a conversation with the "Mehar" news agency.
