New attacks by the Houthis; Saudi Arabia announced the fall of missile remnants in Mecca and Medina.

The Houthis, supported by the Islamic Republic of Yemen, announced on Saturday, October 24, that they had attacked oil facilities and several airports in Saudi Arabia in large-scale attacks. The Saudi authorities announced the interception of ballistic missiles and the fall of their remains in several areas, and the Yemeni government also confirmed that three missiles hit coast guard facilities in Aden.

Yahya Sari, the military spokesman for the Houthis, announced on Saturday, October 24, that this group had carried out several operations against targets in Saudi Arabia in the past day.

He claimed that King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh was targeted in two phases, and King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, Najran Airport and Bakhmis Mushit Air Base were also targets of the attacks. The Houthi spokesman also claimed that the forces of this group attacked the facilities of the Aramco oil company in Yanba, the Rabigh oil refinery, oil pumping stations and the oil transmission pipeline from the east to the west of Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi authorities did not confirm the Houthi attacks on oil facilities and airports, but the Saudi-led military coalition announced the destruction of two ballistic missiles fired at Yanba and Tif.

The military coalition led by Saudi Arabia announced on Saturday that it had destroyed two ballistic missiles launched by the Houthis at the cities of Yanba and Tif.

The Saudi Civil Defense Organization also announced the fall of remnants of missiles intercepted in the areas of Mecca and Medina.

According to this organization, parts of missiles fell in Wadi al-Majmus in Makkah, as well as in the areas of Jeddah, Taif and Rabigh. Given that the Houthis claimed to be targeting the Rabigh refinery, it remains unclear whether or not the fall of the missile remnants in this area is related to the alleged attack on the refinery.

The Saudi Civil Defense Organization previously warned the residents of several cities, including Makkah, Jeddah, Taif and Yanbu, about the possible danger, but about 10 minutes later announced that the danger had been lifted.
