Ukraine's Defense Ministry announced Saturday, November 2, that the speed of the Starlink satellite Internet system and its military version, Starshield, has returned to a high level once again after more than a week of restrictions that disrupted the country's military operations.

These restrictions, which led to an escalation of tensions between Kyiv and Washington, were implemented after US President Donald Trump announced an agreement to purchase Russian diesel fuel and at the same time asked Ukraine to stop its attacks on Russian refineries.

Ukrainian officials said these restrictions reduced the ability of state forces to intercept Russian attack drones and caused the cancellation of some military operations.

During the period of restrictions, the Ukrainian forces faced problems when using these systems at speeds above 160 km/h.
