🔸 Donald Trump, the President of the United States, on Friday, November 1, announced again the possibility of carrying out a new military operation against Iran. At the same time, the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Salami warned that under no circumstances will he allow American warships to enter the Persian Gulf.
🔸 These mutual threats are raised at a time when the United States reduced the number of its embassies in several countries in the Middle East after receiving information about the increase in threats against its citizens and officials, and fears increased about the beginning of a new round of military attacks.
🔸 Trump, who has taken different positions regarding the goals and timing of the end of the war in recent months, repeatedly said in his recent election speeches that the war will end soon, "in whatever form".
This is despite him announcing earlier in October that the United States would not launch a new ground attack on Iran before the Nov. 3 midterm elections.
