A new clash between Israeli and Palestinian prisoners; Two captured Israeli soldiers were killed in the West Bank.

Following the ground attack in the West Bank, in which two Israeli soldiers were killed and three others were wounded, Benjamin Netanyahu canceled his political plans on the first Friday of November.

According to an AFP reporter who witnessed the incident, before noon on Friday, two Palestinian men, armed with pistols and automatic machine guns, confronted Israeli security forces during a checkpoint near Hebron and were killed by their bullets.

Following the incident, Netanyahu, who hopes to begin another term as prime minister after the general elections next Tuesday, on Friday canceled all his election plans, ordered the closure of all West Bank crossings and the start of a search operation in "suspicious neighborhoods" in Hebron. Although there is still no information on the motivation and organizational connection of the Palestinian attackers, Prime Minister Israel said in a statement: "We are following the traces of the assassinations of Hamas and those who invited them to carry out the operation."

Hamas, recognized as an assassination organization by the United States and the European Union, did praise today's attack as a "heroic act in Hebron", but did not take responsibility for it.

Netanyahu, who was present at the scene of the incident on Friday evening, emphasized that the army forces entered the "suspicious" neighborhoods in Hebron to search houses and destroy "elimination infrastructure".

The first captives emphasized that "we will destroy this place and change it completely".
