Donald Trump, the president of the United States, says that the United States can end the war with Iran "very quickly", but the question is whether it should complete the Islamic Republic's work or allow this regime to gradually disintegrate.
On Friday, Nov. 1, Mr. Trump told reporters: "We can end this very quickly, but Iran is a collapsing country."
He added: "The question is, do we want to end it or just let it gradually fall apart? "Because we get everything we want."
Referring to Iran's economic situation, the American president said: "They have inflation and they have no money."
Referring to the Strait of Hormuz, Mr Trump said the US Navy had blocked that waterway for the Salamis Republic, but other countries could still move oil through it.
He said: "We will take out as much oil as we want from there. In fact, last week we extracted more oil from there than at any other time, even before the war.
