The head of the Central Bank of Iran, in response to the increase in American economic pressure, says that the country's foreign exchange reserves are sufficient to supply imports until the end of Donald Trump's term and even after.
🔸 Abdulnasser Hamti wrote on his Telegram channel on Friday, November 1, referring to an interview he gave last week on the sidelines of the International Monetary Fund and World Bank meeting with Bloomberg, that the central bank's reserves are in good condition.
According to him, in response to a question about the amount of these reserves, it is emphasized that Iran can provide its required imports until the end of Trump's term and even after.
The second term of Donald Trump's presidency will end in January 2029 (in early Mahaman 1407).
In these statements, the Governor General of the Central Bank of Iran did not provide a specific figure regarding the amount of the country's foreign exchange reserves or the amount of resources actually available under the terms of the sanctions.
