On Tuesday, October 20, Rahul Joshi, editor of Network 18 at CNBC India, added, “We are facing a country that openly states that it is targeting commercial ships, trying to kill sailors who have nothing to do with the war, and wants to sink commercial ships.

Rubio added, "Unfortunately, Iran is taking measures that people really need to talk about; this hasn't been seen since World War II."

He says: “America protects shipping every night. The vast majority of drones and missiles that Iran fires at ships are destroyed. "Unfortunately, sometimes one of them goes through the defense systems and hits the ship."
