This explosion and fire occurred in Line 6 of Iran Aluminum Company (IRLCO) and it was caused by the explosion of the boiler of this production line.

A report on the number of victims or injured has not yet been published.

After the publication of these photos, the governor of Arak strongly denied the "news of the explosion and any security issue or sabotage" and called it a "technical incident in the electricity system".
