The Vice President of the United States says that, like Donald Trump, he will not publicly support Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the country's parliamentary elections next week and wants to stand against it. In an interview with Mark Halperin, a journalist, on Monday, October 27, Jeddy Vance said about Netanyahu: "I am not against supporting him. I also do not agree to support him. I will not interfere in the elections in Israel." He added: "I support the American candidates and my focus is on the (American) mid-term elections. On Sunday, US President Donald Trump officially supported Netanyahu, who is seeking re-election as Prime Minister in the parliamentary elections in Israel on October 27. According to AFP, Vance's refusal to comment on the Israeli elections contrasts with his past approach to European elections.
