According to a person familiar with this case, this investigation is related to the immigration file of this representative of Somali origin, and the accusation of "fraud" in the documents submitted by his father when he immigrated to America.

🔸 Ilhan Omar wrote on the X network that the US government is trying to "target a political enemy of the president".

He added: "For ten years, Donald Trump has been looking for me with baseless lies and trying to defame me. This is just another round of his attempt to scare me politically.
