The United States and its allies, including Britain, Australia, Canada, France, Spain, the Czech Republic and Germany, warned Tehran in joint statements on Monday against hostile actions. This statement was issued on Monday, October 12, after Andy Burnham, the British Prime Minister, announced that the Katabhikin Guards Corps was behind the incident at the Preford base. These countries emphasized that "on the strongest note, we condemn Iran's use of violent attacks, including deadly conspiratorial actions, deliberate arson, sabotage, cyber attacks and other combined (hybrid) activities against us and our partners." In this statement, referring to "Iran's involvement" in the Perford base incident, it was said that "Britain also came to the conclusion that this incident shows the IRGC's continued desire to expand its hostile activities beyond its borders through secret networks and proxy agents." These countries added: "Any attempt by Iran to threaten, silence, intimidate, harass, harm or coerce people in our territory through emissaries or any other means is unacceptable."
