The United States Central Command, CENTCOM, announced that American forces disabled a commercial cargo ship in the Sea of Oman on Saturday, October 18.
According to Centcom, the crew of this ship ignored repeated warnings and tried to violate the naval blockade imposed against Iran.
According to Centcom's statement, a U.S. fighter jet disabled the rear of this Panamanian-flagged ship called the "Ocean Molica" called the "Arica Sun" using precision-guided munitions.
CENTCOM says this ground attack completely disabled the ship's propulsion system and its crew was unharmed.
This cargo ship passed through the waters of the region after leaving one of Iran's ports.
