🔸 The lawyer for the 12 protesters accused in the case known as "Elihani Square in Usafia" emphasized in rejecting the report by the government media that the charge of murdering policemen was not explained to these defendants at all and is not part of the "accusations".

On Saturday, October 18, Shahrzad Shahbazi, a lawyer and the defense attorney of the Revolutionary Guards Alireza, one of the five people executed in this case, wrote in an Instagram message that "burning police officers in accordance with premeditated murder" was not part of the accusations of the 12 people and naturally was not addressed in court.

Shabazi wrote: "There is no charge of murder for any of the accused in the Elihani Square and Victims' Square cases." This is a response to a report by some state media that, following increased criticism, especially after the execution of the Revolutionary Guards, Alireza published an interview with a woman in which she says that the accused killed and burned the police officers.

In this case, five defendants have been executed so far, and seven other defendants are at risk of execution.
