A diplomatic source told Agence France-Presse that the Houthis in Yemen launched a ground attack on that airport with a missile around 3 p.m. local time. According to initial reports, dozens of people were injured in this ground attack.

A hospital source told AFP that five of the injured were admitted to the intensive care unit.
