Mohsen Zangana, a member of parliament, after the reactions to his statements about the allocation of more than 110 dunams of land in Chabahar to the Afghan Taliban government, said that the issue of handing over the Iranian land is a "lie" and the only issue is "creating infrastructure" by the Taliban government in this area.
He stated this on Saturday, October 18, and the Ilana news agency reported on it.
Mohsen Zangana, who heads the special committee to support production and monitor the implementation of the general policy of Article 44 of the Constitution, said on October 16 in an interview with Sahar Network that senior Taliban officials demanded "their own country" in the Khabar Azad region, adding that "agreements" of "agreements" were reached by the "Taliban" with them in "Halban".
Zangana added that based on this initial understanding, Afghanistan will be "allocated" about 10 dunams in Chabahar port and more than 100 dunams in the special economic zone, and the Afghan side also demanded more coastal areas. Now he says he did not intend to hand over ownership or sovereignty, but confirmed the principle of allocating these lands for investment and building infrastructure such as a dry port.
