Donald Trump, the president of the United States, said again that the war with Iran will end "soon".

Donald Trump, the president of the United States, said again that the war with Iran will end "soon".

On Friday, September 17, Trump said in a ceremony at the White House: "We have prevented Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon, and the price [of gasoline] will drop dramatically, and this war, in whatever form, will end soon."

He added: "We can do it both ways, but the matter is very simple; either way, this war will end soon."

With these statements, Trump appeared to be referring to the possibility of ending the months-long war through a diplomatic or military solution.

The President of the United States also said about Iran: "They have no more military power, no navy, no air force, and no air defense system." He made these statements many times. The increase in fuel prices in recent weeks, following the Iran war, the decrease in the supply of oil products from the Middle East and Russia, and the shutdown of Chinese fuel exports, increased the pressure on the global energy markets.
