Hossein Pourakbarian, a photographer and naturalist, posted an aerial photo of the movement of flamingos in Lake Maharlo on his Instagram page.
Alongside the publication of these photos, he wrote on his Instagram page: "Trying to survive; where the water recedes and mud and sewage take their place, the fight for life continues.
🔸 The decrease in water and the entry of sewage threatens the wildlife of Lake Maherlo, the increase in salinity and the growth of microalgae can also change the color of the water in this lake to pink and red.
🔸Flamingos are one of the most populated migratory birds that come to Lake Maharlo in Fars province in autumn and winter.
Lake Maharlu is located 20 kilometers southeast of Shiraz, between this city and the city of Sarbostan.
