The Kremlin Palace announced that at this meeting the Russian President expressed his willingness to help end the war between Iran and the US. According to the Russian media, Vladimir Putin told Pezhkian: "We are ready to do everything we can to help resolve this situation."

Iranian media reported that Massoud Pazhkian said in this meeting about the negotiations with America: "We gave proposals and the Americans also gave new proposals. We have made our corrections to these suggestions. "After it is finally finished, we are going to sit through the existing interfaces and summarize them."

This is the second meeting between the presidents of Iran and Russia in the last month. On Tuesday, September 10, they met and talked in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit.
