On Friday, October 17, two Iranian men were dismissed in a London court, accused of identifying and tracking captives of the Israeli embassy and several places associated with the British Jewish community in order to gather information for the intelligence agencies of the Salami Republic.

Namatullah Shahsouni, 41, a dual citizen of Iran and Britain, and Alireza Frosti, 22, an Iranian citizen, appeared at the Old Bailey Criminal Court in London and did not accept the charges against them based on the British National Security Act.

These two people accuse that in July and August 2025 they followed the prisoners of the embassy and the consulate in London, as well as the historic "Boia Marks" synagogue, the oldest synagogue in Britain, for the purpose of intelligence activity.

According to the court, a person whose identity was not published and who had "informative importance" for Iran's intelligence agencies was also one of the possible targets of these activities. The two defendants will be detained until the next court session in February and their trial is scheduled to take place in April 2027.
