🔸 The British Maritime Trade Operations Center reported three incidents to several ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz on Monday, October 13 in the afternoon.
This global shipping watchdog said two tankers were targeted by a ground attack with unknown projectiles while passing through Hormuz on Sunday. One of these tankers carried liquefied gas (Alfiji) and was targeted on the way to the Strait of Hormuz.
Britain's Maritime Operations Center also said it had received a delayed report of a ground attack on an oil tanker in the Strait of Hormuz on Saturday.
In another incident, according to this center, the Revolutionary Guards on Monday warned an oil tanker on its way to the Strait of Hormuz, 11 miles north of Hassab in Oman, and following this warning the aforementioned oil tanker changed its course.
🔸 Attacks on ships in the Strait of Hormuz continue while reports indicate an increase in the amount of oil that has left this vital waterway in recent days. America and Iran both claim control over the Strait of Hormuz.
